Complex human reaction implements the principle that the time required to perform a mental process, in some form, exerts primary control over the time required for a person to perform a physical act. There are two components of this reaction, a physical component and a mental component, Complex Mental Reaction. The mental process elements of the complex mental reaction are defined by a specific taxonomy for application. Evaluation of performance as well as comparison of alternatives is based upon real time values. Complex human reaction is the application of stimulus-response to persons in ordinary activities. The reaction includes physical and mental components. A physical response is overt, visually defined, demonstrable, and easily described by time values. Mental processes are not apparent and are difficult to describe by time values without an appropriate application of mental chronometry. Complex human reaction implements the principle that the time required to perform a mPublished
