This paper discusses some methods which have been successful in communicating with juries. Sample demonstrations made out-of-court are presented along with some legal requirements for their admission. A case which offers many opportunities to develop demonstrative evidence is used as an example. The sum of the demonstrations presented made up a composite whole, which told a complete, direct and simple set of facts understandable to the jury. Facts were provided for the jury to determine if the steering components failed and caused the accident, or if the failures occurred during and as a result of the accident sequence.Published
