This Paper Discusses The Latest Research That Safety-Oriented Groups Have Undertaken In Addressing The Issues Of This Complex Area Of Engineering And Law. A Compilation Of Standards Relating To Slip/Fall Issues Is Given. Tribometers, Past And Present, Are Discussed To The Give The Reader A Perspective On The Evolution Of Science And Technology In This Area. Finally, An Overview Of How The Americans With Disabilities Act Comes Into Play Is Presented.Published
