Passing the baton

Bart Kemper has succeeded Martin Gordon's successful term as Editor in Chief of the Journal of the NAFE.  Marty has done amazing work in transitioning the Journal to the new Open Journal System platform and modernizing the processes.  As a full-time college professor, he has guided the publication's Associate Editors into coaching and mentoring authors to a higher standard.

Bart now has the challenge of completing the transition and further elevating the Journal's standing as a peer-reviewed technical journal.   Bart has a decade of professional work as a full-time and freelance writer and photographer, has edited several publications, and is an accomplished author in his own right in addition to being a Senior member of NAFE.  He is also a recently retired US Army Reserve lieutenant colonel with years of leading teams dispersed throughout the US and internationally.

The Board of Directors of the NAFE is dedicated to ensuring the quality of the Journal and its role in representing the science of Forensic Engineering.  We thank Marty for his superior service to the Academy and stand by to support Bart in his new role.
